Tandoor Chop House

Being married to a guy who never likes to repeat restaurants has its own perks - I get to try some absolutely amazing food. After a few days at Malta, we were craving for some spicy Indian food and decided to try out Tandoor Chop House. We had made reservations multiple times but could never go till now and  instantly booked it when we saw tables were available.

Hailed as the new 'Dishoom', this place is just off the Charing Cross Station perfect for city bankers and tourists to Trafalgar Square. We went there with couple of our good friends ( Beer and Prosecco buddies!) but all of us were just in the mood to hog.

Decor is very hyggeligt (new add to my vocab, thanks to 'The little book of Hygge')..

First off,  Seekh Kabab roll which was a hit amongst all 3 of them. I had the pomegranate seeds
( Hate lamb and like Sobin says I believe people start smelling like a lamb after they have it 😀).

Tandoor Cauliflower chat. Though it was listed as a side, could be devoured as a main as portion was so huge and it was so delicious !

Followed by mains and masala fries.. My personal favourite, Tandoor Chicken and for others - Amritsari Lamb Chops !

Green Masala Pollock - wish it was Salmon rather than Pollock!

We also had garlicky buttery naans and their dripping keema naan with steaming black Daal. This black daal definitely gives Dishoom Daal a run for its money. Sorry, no pics as we were gobbling away to glory.

To finish it all honeycomb ice cream with pine apple. Sobin thought combination was amazing but I just stuck to healthy option of ice cream (Hey ! honey comb has a zillion benefits ;)).. We will be back soon, very soon Tandoor Chop House !

Forgot to take an OOTD pic but found one  from another day with the top that I wore. Show me cold shoulder and embroidery and you can take my money. .
